The Publication Project

The central components of our publication is the narrated experiences, photography and creative expression of students who have lead and been involved in international development initiatives.

The production team invested a great deal of time and effort researching, comparing and learning from ‘resource transfer based’ development interventions specifically lead by students in communities overseas.

A serious contact gathering campaign was designed and implemented. Personal letter were written to more than 100 individual participants of pioneering and groundbreaking development projects; designed and implemented during their time at school. By presenting this collection of student development experiences, the publication and distribution of this book we are convinced will serve to:

• Artistically illustrate the economical and human value these initiatives have.
• Call out for the importance of discussing, presenting and reporting this work; in order to assure its continuity, sustainability, improvement and responsible ness.
• Most importantly, advocate for the expansion and improvement of this movement; a movement of students, understandings and resources across borders.
