Student Globe

Our History

In its first year, Student Globe (formerly known as Students for Humanity) published Interconnections, a Student Publication of Exploration, Discovery and Action. The proceeds generated from sales and presentation events were invested into an assessment mission to Zambia for the University of Dayton.

This year’s publication, In Transit: Perceptions of a Generation Crossing Borders, (tentative title) follows inspired students who have voluntarily lead small scale and personalized projects in impoverished communities around the world. From libraries, to water wells and cooking stoves these micro projects prove the power of individuals to directly connect, assist and empower the world’s true poor by designing appropriate solutions.

Our vision is to produce a meaningful publication -one that makes students and complete educational institutions stop and think, reflect and react, ponder and imagine how much more could be done. Then, take the time to properly invest the profits into promising development projects proposed.
